Estos trabajos fueron realizados en el marco de residencias cruzadas entre Argentina, Francia y Arabia Saudita, organizada por Bienalsur.
Borrando Fronteras.

El trabajo en red que lleva adelante BIENALSUR da lugar a numerosos diálogos, la idea de realizar una serie de residencias cruzadas que permitieran a artistas fotógrafos de tres países miembros de BIENALSUR hacer la experiencia de una residencia artística que llevara a “borrar las fronteras”. Fue entonces cuando, compartiendo este proyecto con el Ministerio de Cultura de Arabia Saudita, seleccionamos los seis fotógrafos que integran estas residencias cruzadas realizadas entre el KSA –Ryadh y su entorno–, Francia –más precisamente en Córcega– y Argentina –Ciudad de Buenos Aires y Dolores–. Moath Alofi, Tasneem Alsultan, Nicolás Janowski, Laura Glusman, Laetizia Debian y Sébastien Arrighi fueron los artistas que buscaron “borrar las fronteras” con su obra. Arrighi y Janowski en Ryadh, Debian y Tasmeen en Buenos Aires, Glusman y Alofi en Córcega, dieron continuidad a sus trabajos en estos escenarios desconocidos para ellos. D.W.

Blur the borders.

The networking carried out by BIENALSUR gives rise to numerous dialogues, the idea of carrying out a series of cross-residencies that would allow photographic artists from three member countries of BIENALSUR to experience an artistic residency that would lead to "blur the borders". It was then that, sharing this project with the Ministry of Culture of Saudi Arabia, we selected the six photographers who make up these crossed residencies carried out between the KSA –Ryadh and its surroundings–, France –more precisely in Corsica– and Argentina –City of Buenos Aires and Dolores–. Moath Alofi, Tasneem Alsultan, Nicolas Janowski, Laura Glusman, Laetizia Debian and Sébastien Arrighi were the artists who sought to "erase borders" with their work. Arrighi and Janowski in Ryadh, Debian and Tasmeen in Buenos Aires, Glusman and Alofi in Corsica, gave continuity to their work in these unknown scenarios for them. D.W.
